Phil Lesh & Friends
Jeff played over a dozen shows with Grateful Dead bassist, Phil Lesh and his post-Grateful Dead music project, Phil and Friends in April of 2000.
For this tour Jeff was asked to learn over 70 Grateful Dead songs, as the band often performed consecutive nights at the same venue and Phil preferred to play different songs for each evening to make the performances unique. During this tour, Jeff played: guitar, lap steel, mandolin and also sang lead vocals on some of the classic Dead songs!
