BETTE MIDLER

In 2015, Jeff’s dear friend and Ray Charles Orchestra bandmate, Morris “Mo” Pleasure was hired to be bandleader for the iconic artist, performer Bette Midler. Mo invited Jeff to be part of a stunning 12-piece band for Bette that included some of the finest musicians he knew. The ensemble toured stadiums throughout the US and finished the tour at the 02 in London. The tour was immense and the musicianship and production was world class. It was the largest tour than Jeff had ever experienced.

Jeff & Mo have been friends for many years and this was an amazing “full circle” experience for the two, especially when the tour brought them to New York City and Madison Square Garden, which was an iconic venue neither of them had played before.
