Joe Cocker
In 1988, Jeff toured all over the world with Joe Cocker promoting his Unchain My Heart record.
Joe Cocker was also a huge Ray Charles fan and took great pride in the fact that Jeff also played guitar for Ray for many years. When Jeff asked Joe to autograph his 1988 Tour booklet, Joe wrote the following, "You, Me and Ray" & "Joe Cocker '88"
Jeff was asked to play guitar on the twelfth studio album by Joe Cocker, titled "One Night of Sin" released by Capitol Records in June 1989.
It contains the hit single "When The Night Comes" (US #11), which was Cocker's last US Top 40 hit. Joe was a class act.
Jeff said "Joe treated his musicians and crew like family. He was an extremely generous and kind man. It was an honor and joy to work with him"
